Take a look at the range of affordably priced Peugeot vehicles we have on offer below. We want to ensure you get the perfect van that meets your business needs and with our helpful and knowledgeable team at the end of the phone we will be able to achieve this.
Peugeot is one of the big three French companies – along with Renault and Citroen – and has a similarly impeccable reputation for build quality and reliability. Peugeot has a large range of commercial vehicles, all of which come in several different versions, most of which are available for lease or purchase from Global Vans. The respected Bristol van hire company offers a number of options for when you decide you need a new van. You can choose from leasing contract hire, finance lease or hire purchase, depending on your business plan. With contract hire, there is no tie-up of capital, but you never actually own the van. This is good for start-up businesses because it is flexible. Finance lease or hire purchase does mean that in the end you own the vehicle (in the former case after payment of a balloon payment) and so for businesses with more capital, these are ideal. What has Peugeot to offer?
With four different vehicles each with various options, Peugeot has one of the biggest van ranges in the market. The Bipper has a payload capacity of up to 2.8 square metres and can hold 660kg. The seats are exactly the same as in a family saloon, so you know that you will arrive at your destination rested and ready to go. The large windscreen is very unusual in a van of this capacity and it makes it very easy to drive because you have a good all round view. It is easy to park, so perfect for city deliveries or pick-ups and has six tie down points to prevent cargo from slipping. The fuel economy is excellent at over 60mpg and the van has a really small turning circle and a lively engine, so if urban deliveries are your thing, choose this. Its equivalent is something like the Fiesta van, or the Fiorino.
Getting a little bit bigger
The Peugeot Boxer was launched in 2006 and has been recently given a thorough upgrade. It carries up to 1900kg as a payload and is easy to pack, with a sliding door at the side to aid with manoeuvring the load. For those who are unused to parking a van, it has parking sensors as standard, so it gives a lot of confidence if you are using it in confined areas and don’t have a passenger on board to guide you. Peugeot van hire from Global vans is a great way of accessing this very versatile van for reasonable monthly costs. Another Peugeot with a recent upgrade, the Expert includes both panel van and crew versions. Depending on body size, it carries up to 1200kg and there is a 2 litre version with a six speed gear box for longer trips. The passengers and driver all travel in style, with air conditioning, Bluetooth and USB stereo all available. The Expert is deliberately designed to need less servicing, not an issue of course as Global Vans keep all of their vehicles in peak condition with regular maintenance. The Peugeot Partner comes in two lengths – check with your Global Vans adviser which would be best for you. For its size, it has a higher payload than you might expect and packing and unpacking is very easy. The crew van version is particularly comfortable and does not compromise on payload as it has the longer wheelbase. The front wheel drive five speed manual gearbox is very easy to drive and with extras like Bluetooth and USB stereo, the journey won't seem boring, no matter how long it is!
