Take a look at the range of affordably priced Iveco vehicles we have on offer below. We want to ensure you get the perfect van that meets your business needs and with our helpful and knowledgeable team at the end of the phone we will be able to achieve this.
Some people assume that Iveco is another Japanese manufacturer because of the unusual name, but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, Iveco stands for Industrial Vehicles Corporation and is part of the Fiat Group, based in Turin, Italy. It was founded in 1975 and only makes commercial vehicles. Another common misconception is that the word 'Fiat' is used because it is the Latin for ‘he does’, meaning, made by someone but in fact this is not so. The name Fiat is arrived at in the same way as Iveco and is taken from the initials of Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino which was founded in 1899. Fiat and Chrysler have now amalgamated, with Iveco part of that wider company. So when you use Iveco van hire, you are actually tapping into a huge and well-respected company.
Not a flash in the pan
The Iveco Daily has been a leading van model since 1978 and this says much for its inherent good design. It of course has many features now which were undreamed of in 1978, including cruise control and Bluetooth connectivity. The Daily comes with either a six speed manual or automatic gearbox and as well as a very substantial payload capacity it can tow 3,500kg, ideal if your work means that you need to take small machinery with you. When you call Global Vans to arrange your Iveco van hire, ask about the options available – with just one model from this manufacturer, options vary. One thing that customers of Bristol van hire company Global Vans really love about the Daily is its manoeuvrability. As might be expected from a van from the Fiat stable, it is very easy to drive, even in city traffic.
An easy van to load and unload
With the Daily as your van hire choice, you won't be disappointed when it comes to carrying long or awkward loads. You can fit an extraordinary length of payload in the Daily – a market beating 5.1 metres. You also have many tie down points, making sure that your load does not shift in transit. When you call Global Vans to discuss your needs, you will be offered various finance options. Contract hire is an inexpensive start up option, and you don't have a balloon payment at the end of the period. This means you never own the van, but you do benefit from all the maintenance and other parts of the packages which come with finance lease, hire and direct purchase. Different business plans suit different finance options, so ask our experienced staff which would suit you best. If you are thinking of developing a fleet of vans, choosing a Daily may turn out to be ideal. There are different body lengths available, but they do have a very strong corporate look, so may be a cost effective way of giving you a corporate image with little paintwork necessary, a very important option if you are on a tight budget or a new start-up.
